I just feel so bad for his 2 little girls and wife, and of course his whole family. He stayed living in his hometown and literally was his hometown hero for YEARS, different generation of kids looked up to him only to watch him kill himself as his last act. I sure hope there's not a bmx'er kid or any kid for that matter out there somewhere having a hard time in life and think "well, if my idol Dave Mirra killed himself I'll do it too", I really really hope that shit doesn't happen !!

for real! he is my idol and i go through some tough times but I am always there for others going through a rough one i would not hesitate to help anyone who needs someone to talk to or ride with. people did care about mirra but he was a hell of a rider getting bumps and brusis here and there he probably knocked the wrong part at the wrong time, he will always remain alive in someway though..
