Thanks Nathan. Will look into that brand. I need a Marine Battery for my Dump trailer. My old Interstate with wing nut adapters on my post just won’t keep a charge anymore

Nathan: Thanks for the info, it sure looks like a nifty system. I purchased a Bluetti EB3A last fall and like the feature set and unit overall. It offers a lot for its price. However, after about 2 months of use it stopped being able to charge using AC power. Bluetti's Customer Service is slow (to be charitable) and after going back forth, trying to trouble shoot the problem, I finally got a replacement sent to me after about 4 months. I hope you don't need to use their Customer Service but if you do be prepared for slow responses and some frustration.

I thought about getting one of these last year but I have plenty of corded power tools and extension leads and battery tools, unless it has a well priced solar charging kit I just dont know how I would use one.

How does the BluEddie compare to the BluEdward? I kid, I'm looking to pick one of these up for myself. I have a fairly sizable solar system in my trailer that can be entirely replaced by the AC300 plus two B300s.

Great video. Would it be a good idea to use a battery cable disconnect on the dump trailer. Might help save that battery if you don't use it very much.

So you need the EXPANTION BATTERY to have AC300 unit to work?

You need both to make it work. The AC300 is just really a controller and inverter, it doesn't have a battery installed. It's the brains of the operation but the muscle (i.e., power) is provided by the Expansion packs. It's not a bad concept. You can add additional expansion packs as you need or can afford them.

If you let that battery get below 11Volts then it is unlikely to hold a decent charge for long. Normally if it gets down to 12V then you should charge it.

I have a bluetti I won off a couple who had a contest for the winner. Now I just couldn't believe it. Never won anything in my life. I gave them my info and it came with a bag to put tools in it. Those units of bluetti are really a great setup! I would like to have the 300 W/ the external speaker. I'm building a stick/built cabin and Im going to have lights in all-around the small cabin and allso have lights outside if I need them. Bluetti is in my opinion is a awesome product.

I'm thinking of getting this unit now that you've promoted it.. but I'm thinking about using it for a travel trailer... like you said, you don't want to go cheap with this kind of stuff.. especially when you are out in the woods or anywhere you might be camping.. I would have to max it out with 4 batteries..

What's wrong with plugging your trailer battery charger into the wall like it's supposed to? What's the point of the AC300? You have power at home, why not pull out a 100 foot extension cord at a fraction of the cost.
