Hello there! As one of the helpers for the mod, I'm glad you've gotten show off our changes! It was very fun helping out and making the controls feel as smooth as possible, while sticking true to Unleashed's hedgehog gameplay. I can't wait to see you showcase more Sonic Unleashed mods! Edit: The Homing Attack also has reduced delay.

I think a happy medium can be found somewhere between the Unleashed and Generations drifts, because it's pretty clear to me that these levels weren't built around Gens's tighter drift.

If we were ever to get a remaster of Sonic Unleashed, I would like to see a feature where you can switch between gens controls and unleashed controls.

damn unleashed still holds up, looks pleasing to eyes, looks a passion project, and fun to watch and play for kids and adults alike. My inner child wants to play this on pc with native pc port. 🙏🏻

I’ll still maintain that the original 08 version still looks better than Forces/Frontiers to this day. Hedgehog engine was way ahead of its time

Unleashed doesn't really need adjustments. I look at it as Sonic improvements in the future, like in generation, he's more flexible in that game and has more dexterity in his movements. Like how Sonic stumbles a bit when grinding in this game.

I agree, though I think a tighter turning radius is still important. Drifting controsl is debatable, though.

The drift in unleashed was crap, you slid all over the place. It's slightly better while not boosting but the gens one is a million times better. In gens it doesn't matter how fast you're moving, when you drift you turn immediately without sliding around.

@mobas07 bros never heard of physics lmao. Of course, you're gonna slide around more when you're moving faster. that's the point. The idea of the drift is to slow down to tightly turn the corner, not be at high speeds and turn sharp.

They're both similar, one's for 2d sections, the other for 3d.

Unleashed because of: EXP bar, QTE, stat distribution and inability to retry after goal. emulation exists

@jacariwatsonallard8603 You'd be surprised. There's a surprising amout of people who wanna mod Sonic Unleashed, including myself. That being said, it is a small niche. Hopefully, we can get bring attention to other enthusiasts!
