Growing up is an important part of everyone's childhood, which also applies to the Heeler family. Following along with Bluey and her family through three seasons, we've witnessed how she and her sister change from young girls still learning the world to experienced seven and five-year-olds! Their childhood has just started, and with the next season of Bluey on the horizon, fans can’t wait to see how much more they'll grow and experience. I highly doubt that the fourth season of Bluey will feature the main character and her sister Bingo as grown-ups. The essence of the show, being a preschool children's program, is the play during childhood with family and friends using imagination. Otherwise, the essence of Bluey would be lost if the protagonist were no longer a child engaging in the games she loves to play. In fact, I am quite convinced that, as in previous episodes, there will only be brief future scenes where Bluey has grown up, but this will certainly not be the main focus of the show. Preschoolers need to continue to see themselves in Bluey and her friends.

Socks went from an actual puppy to a toddler, bingo turned 5, the only character we havent seen age yet is bluey. We havent seen bluey have an 8th bday party yet.

I feel like for the forth session they should do a bit of a time skip with Bluey being 12 and bingo being 10. And I feel like a funny but a bit rude ep would be mekensiy coming over and bingo kinda teases Bluey about her and mekensiy playing together and making the same joke that winton did in barky boats

There wont be a time skip as such but they dont appear likely to recast so those children will naturally age. Depending on how long it takes to make the next series and start releasing episodes we should expect a couple of years increase tot he ages.

Btw, bluey is in 1st grade not kindergarten. Bingo is in kindergarten so bluey would be in 2nd grade.bingo also always says she is In kindy so yeah

I recently read an article where the creator said he constantly gets requests to "age up" the characters and that's what he intends to do. But "on the horizon"? Yeah that's not accurate lol the team is exhausted after all the post-covid tight schedules and they're taking a break, not to mention that it usually takes roughly two years before another season comes out, so I'm not expecting season 4 until late 2025 at the earliest

Bluey: The Sign was never meant to be a good episode that was not my fault! Matt Walsh: not your fault who made me filed my parents heads with tears who waited for season 4 after a 2 year hiatus who denied me my legacy. Bluey: it was never my decision to make. Bluey actually stayed behind when others moved to first grade. When a child is 7, they are going to 2nd grade. So if Bluey is going to first grade now, she is 1 grade behind.

I've been watching Bluey since 2020 and me and my little brother and sister love this show. I was 13 and I still watch 😁. What I like is that it is both very fun and imaginative for children but at the same time it also guides and moralizes adults. The decline of today's shows worried me a lot but now Bluey has become one of the best children's cartoons. I prefer this cartoon to Peppa Pig but I won't make a comparison between the two. Of course I'm not a fan of Bluey but this show is incredible.

There will be no season 4 unfortunately, (probably) but I also think if they do do a season 4, then bluey and bingo would stay children throughout it (like most of bluey)
