I theorize that grandpa Bob either has dementia or alzhiemers or something to that nature and is in a hospital or home. It said he forgot Bingo was born and later in the episode Bingo says "Goodnight Grandpa Bob, wherever you are." If the parents didn't want to tell the kids what was going on (which is understandable) they wouldn't know where he is, just that he's not home. In the Easter episode, the Easter bunny (which is Bandit and Chili obviously) left a note apologizing for being later because he had "family stuff" going on but didn't want to go into details. If that was around his diagnosis or even moving into a home, it would make sense that with the stress of all that that Easter would be put on the back burner. I know the real world reason why but I'm just talking about a possible in universe explanation.

You know, maybe grandpa Bob is on a trip? I mean, in the Bluey verse, one whole year has passed, and maybe a while after grannies, he left for a while? Or he could be fighting cancer and is in the hospital.

There's also the line in "Bedroom" where Bingo says, "Goodnight Grandpa Bob, wherever you are". Is he away in an assisted living facility or in hospital? We really don't know yet.

So sorry! 😭 I most likely think that Bob went on the trip, needed some time alone to enjoy his time, or went to see his sibling, if he had one, to solve the issues between them. Gerald was mentioned in the Fairytale episode, I think maybe Gerald is Bob’s brother’s name or just something it was mentioned as Bob trying to remember Bandit’s name. (That happened before Stripe explained that Rad jinxed Bandit). I’m not sure if he has dementia, it’s not enough proof that he doesn’t remember Bandit’s name, we only saw a few seconds of him in both Grannies and Fairytale and the fact he wasn’t even mentioned in Christmas Swim or any episodes! We don’t know much about him! Also sometimes people don’t remember names, but that doesn’t mean they have dementia or memory loss. As in Grannies, Bluey and Bingo were only talking about if grannies can dance and not grandparents or grandpas, so that’s why Bandit only mentioned that they can ask Nana, Bluey did see grandpa Bob as he fall over the iPad. (Or whatever it is called) so yeah. Nana probably would’ve gone with him but because of girls, and Bob would not want to take her away with him, probably during the Verandah Santa episode, she might have gone to see Bob. I don’t know about you guys but I feel like he and Radley have not seen each other in really long time unlike Bandit and Stripe, I mean last two Christmas episodes they have not seen each other. (Idk about Verandah Santa) I also think Bob is probably sick, but probably not yet. I just thought probably he wasn’t sick but then suddenly got sick later on, I mean in the teaser, we saw Bluey looking sad and worried, and her classmates gasped saying “WHAT?!” If a Ulysses Butterfly is really there hinting of Bob drying and Radley having a son with Frisky, like your theory in one of videos, it most likely possible, but if so I hope Bob will still be mentioned from time to time, I know Nana and her sons will be sad but yeah. But neither way, as we know there are three more episodes left, I’m sure Bob probably will not be in Ghost Basket, but probably will be in Surprise or The Sign ( most likely The Sign) if it’s going to have a wedding of Radley and Frisky then I hope Bob will be there because it’s his son’s wedding and Radley is his first child and first son. (I don’t mind if it’s actually in Season 4) I can understand why Bob wasn’t there lately because of his voice actor that was sick a while ago but to be honest I’m hoping that there will be an explain why and where Bob go because I would not like if he actually just show up and everyone acts like he never left. Honestly I have feeling that Socks may not remember him, I mean she was too young and he left some time before she turns 2.

Some people think that Bob Heeler died or got divorced, but I have a couple more reasonable theories to Bob’s only appearance in the episode “Grannies” and his absence throughout seasons two and three (comment which of them do you think fits best): 1. He passed out from some sort of pain or disease and is in the hospital for a prolonged period of time 2. He’s currently in another country and/or city most probably to visit his friend or sibling for a few weeks You may also think that Bob may be too busy at work but I doubt that would be the case because the Bluey website mentions that Bob is retired and no longer works at any job.

I think the best answer to granpa Bob not being around but still alive and not being divorced, because I remember hearing that that wasn't it either, is for him being a traveler. If he loves traveling but grandma doesn't, I think it can explain everything we've seen and heard of his absence so far. So it's dead, divorced and traveler. What other options could there be?

Two theories. Maybe Bob is overseas in SE Asia, doing charity work in Laos or Cambodia. I feel he's a Vietnam Vet and has ties to the area. The other is that he's going through chemo for skin cancer. In fairytale hes got a full left ear but in grannies hes lost the tip of it. Like its from a biopsy or surgery. Hopefully the first theory is the correct one😊

What I think happened to bob( this might be long) So obviously we haven’t seen bob since grannies ( but I’m in the uk so correct me if I’m wrong) and he wasn’t mentioned in Christmas swim. I do think bob has passed because in an episode bingo goes “ goodnight grandpa bob wherever you are”. This could represent him passing away. It might be from cancer or in grannies he falls over so he could’ve been badly injured. I understand that in the book he was seen at the bbq and not in the series. So he could’ve past quite recently but we haven’t got much to prove this. He wasn’t seen when the kids went to nana’s so it has been a little clear that this had happened. He also could’ve gone on holiday or on a trip but I wouldn’t have thought he’d gone without nana. I would’ve thought that he had gone on a trip near where Mort( Chillis dad) is. Him and Maynard may be friends and went on a trip. If you think about it him and Maynard could be brothers because they have the same rough fur texture. In the episode where the girls go see mort, Maynard goes “ I got it I got it” and I. In grannies bob goes I got it I got it That’s my prediction

In Grannies, Bluey actually reacts when grandpa bob starts heading towards the camera, which proves that he was at-least alive in Grannies.

I do find it fun when they have their parents in the show, like an example of this is Amphibia where Anne, the main character's mom, is voiced by the creator's of the show's mom

Maybe he’s divorced, you know. And he’s on holiday with his new fiancé or maybe getting married. Who knows, it may not be aunt frisky and uncle rad getting married, it might be bob and a new girl. And bluey does react to his shenanigans by giving a little giggle. And maybe bob was here to give nana a visit and say hello and all that. Then of course he had to leave so maybe that’s why bluey only said thank you to nana because maybe she knows that they are divorced. But I’m not sure if I can rerember but I think both grandparents were there doing the floss to cheer up bingo, if so, then maybe grandpa bob had to run and grab something and left nana at home.

When you mentioned that bluey and her family might be like the kardashians of the bluey verse I think that they really could be because in the episode where bingo thinks grannies can floss and bluey doesn’t and the face time nana (and bob) if you look at it bluey is holding the iPad for it to face the camera if you look at the way she’s holding it. Anyways just thought this was interesting and I can’t wait for “the sign” to come out!!

For the bake beans. I’m not a fan of the stuff but when I was little my mom would have it in stock. As for the uses of them I see them as an ingredient for Chili, and sometimes at bbq as a side dish and eaten with Super Bowl snacks. And now looking back at Christmas swim. I kind of noticed something in the episode grannies if you watch bluey and bingo when they're talking to Nana and grandpa Bob, they're more into talking and reacting to how Nana is flossing or how she's mucking up. They're not reacting to Bob at all

So, on one side of my family, all but 1 of my great-grandparents immigrated from England [the last had lived in Canada for generations] So, that side of my family is VERY British. Growing up, we'd have beans on toast, and I HATED it. Couldn't stand the taste or the texture, it always made me nauseous. However, my sister, mom, and basically everyone on that side of the family adores beans on toast and has it for breakfast rather frequently. IDK if fried mushrooms on toast is a popular dish, but I prefer those. As for the episode, who doesn't love the Grannies?! "Aww, I slipped on me beans" lol. Grandpa Bob could be a retired researcher or professor, and as someone in Academia I can say it's not weird even retired professor be invited for talks in other places. Kind of a long strech but Bandit is an archeologist, so maybe grandpa Bob is a scholar as well 😂
