I always use monotone but going by definition monochrome is probably a more accurate description. Great episode as always. Been enjoying your content for years. Keep it up 👍🏻

Monotone is the answer. Monochrome is a greek word that means same colour (mono-chrome). Monotone which is also greek refears to all same.

Monotone is definitely better. Monochrome literally means “one color”, so a flop with 2 hearts and a diamond would also be monochrome. Sounds like Topher Grace in Ocean’s Eleven: allllll red!

Hey Wolfgang. Just got to Dallas hehe. I think on the 55 hand. You gotta give up. As flush draw , K10, 109, misses and opponent’s perception gives a green light to call as well there. But I like the warrior spirit. You have evolved over the years to a pro poker player. 2 years ago, you would have never made these moves

The way that first dealer spread the flop inside out got on my nerves more than it should have. It annoyed me even more than his shipping chips to the losing hand did.

Yeah it’s a bad habit I need to fix 🤦🏻‍♂️, also just hard to go from always doing something to doing something new, but I come from the underground games. shippin the pot the wrong way I got distracted from the floor at the wrong time but easy fix.

I would love to see you change your range on the pocket 5s and below. Find the fold a lot more often when the flop comes so many overs (unless another pair of overs is flopped). Now I may be wrong there, and I am sure I will be told if I am in the comments (haha), but it seems like folks really take the 3bet, pot bet on the flop more seriously when there is an overpair on the board and the pocket pair too -- obviously they don't know you have a pocket pair, but they assume a really good range for the 3bet and then then pot bet.

It’s actually monotone. Monochrome is just ONE COLOR. So that doesn’t really cover the difference in suits. Monotone flop refers to the single suit flop. It’s not referring to the color.

It’s interesting, the Poker community refers to a single suit board as “monotone” even though monotone refers to sound. Monochrome actually means black and white or all one color. But nobody uses that word. Go figure lol
