Hello dolls! Whew! I’m back from Cincinnati and BlytheCon 2022! This year marks Blythe’s 50th birthday as she was originally created by Kenner in 1972. No doll convention is the same, so I thought I’d give you a recap of what I did and what I saw while I was celebrating Blythe’s 50th anniversary. Let’s go!

It’s hard to find clothes to fit the curvy dolls that’s not a dress or kinda trashy looking. I’ve been buying Blythe clothes, because they are more likely to fit a curvy body. I’ve been ordering from Etsy to support creators, but I really just want everyday clothes. Jeans, t-shirts, etc. I don’t want to buy fashionistas to steal their clothes for my favorite dolls and I don’t sew well.

@@composing-chaos I hear ya. I’d actually like to see more normal clothes for Blythe too. There are some, but I agree, it’s fun to buy it in person rather than waiting for it to arrive.
