Among all young pianists of the new generations she is the only one who i love her expressions during performance. unlike everyone else she is NOT putting "extra effort" into faking some artificial, elaborate facial and bodily gestures to catch your eye and to look smarter. this is an authentic performance.

There is no doubt, Yeoleum Son is one of the best pianists today. She is so expressive and spontaneous. She is not using artificial body expressions, like others, in order to sell the merchandise.

I've heard Yeol eum play this piece a good number of times with various orchestras. All of the performances by the orchestras were excellent. The Korean orchestras have, over time, come to equal those of any of the orchestras I've heard in the West. Yet, what makes each of these performances outstanding is Yeol eum's sensational playing which, it seems has Mr. Mozart entering her body and doing an unbelievable job.

My God! Yeoleum Son is a goddess. Her heartful performances touch me in a way that very few of the current crop of superb young performers do. She is totally present as a vehicle for the glorious music. And the orchestra is very very good too! Philip

Great to see and hear Yeoleum Son on KZfaq again, for some reason she does not appear as often as others but is undoubtedly one of the best in the world, Another superb performance.

우리의 손열음님~!!! 오랫만에 라이브 연주를 볼 수 있어서 참 기쁩니다. 영롱한 피아노 소리도 좋고 오케스트라의 단원들의 연주 좋고, 정치용 (이분은 정치는 하지 마시길) 지휘자님의 열연도 참 좋습니다. 여러분 모두에게 깊히 감사드립니다. 코로나 시대임에도 이런 멋지고 아름다운 연주를 감상할 수 있어서 정말 행복합니다. Thank You All~!!!♥♥♥

Yes, captivating as always Yeol Eum Son. I met her here on youtu.be performing this same concert in a Tchaicovsky competition. I am from Argentina and I would like one day to be able to attend one of their concerts in person. With his youth he is already in the Olympus of pianists. Bravo for her.

The great Martha Argerich, Alicia de Larrocha, Maria João Pires are all in such good company because of Yeol Eum Son's Masterful interpretations and deliveries of the worlds greatest composers. Yeol Eum is indeed such a great gift to all of us tuned to her higher frequencies of notes and emotions.🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

이 공연의 모든 것이 좋다. 뛰어난 실력의 오케스트라 협주, 지휘자의 지휘, 관객이 주는 기쁨과 행복의 박수와 환호, 그리고 피아니스트의 노래! 이 공연의 카메라 연출도 탁월했다. 손열음 피아니스트 정면을 담는 카메라에 담긴 모습이 남달랐다. 무대에서 피아니스트를 위해 비추는 조명과 그림자가 잘 어우러져서 피아니스트가 더더욱 아름답게 노래하는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 손열음 피아니스트의 무대 의상과 머릿결 꾸밈이 너무도 아름다웠다.

공연을 보고 듣는 시간은 남다른 추억을 가지는 거라고 생각이 됩니다. 좋아하던 곡을 새로운 편곡으로 들으면 특별하다고 느끼게 돼요. 이 공연은 1,3 악장 일부분에서 약간 편곡이 되어 연주를 하셨는데, 저는 탁월한 연주였다고 생각합니다. 즐겁게 즐길 수 있는 공연을 위해서 원곡에만 맞추지 않고, 공연의 리듬을 한층 올려준 간결함을, 감히 제가 높이 평가하고 싶습니다.

I had refused to listen to this #21 concerto for some 20 yrs but, somehow, for some reason, for this far away symphony in the East, I decided to relisten to it. Sure enough, their style of playing was not the same as what I am accustomed to hearing in the West. It is surely of a different take, a very interesting interpretation, and not bad. The first section string is given a bigger voice in the orchestra. Lovely 2nd movement as the piano and the orchestra were walking on the same path.

A new favorite for me. I've 6 other performances of 21 in c major, this one with the unmasked, lady with an unassuming appearance on the keyboard I recommend. She tapped into the creative divinity that dwelt in The Zart and performed it.
