Josh, you’re one of those people that are Immensely Gifted and Different, but the masses haven’t discovered yet. LOVE the mythos you've created with Otis, man. Also take it easy on yourself with the self-psych diagnoses ;) Thanks for putting out such great work, it's inspiring. Oh and also: I would love to see a little bit of your editing process when it comes to storyboarding, editing (transitions, grading etc.), and WHEN YOU KNOW THAT SOMETHING IS DONE. I have such a hard time finishing anything because I always feel it's sub-par... and it just ends up sitting on a hard drive never to see the light of day. Thanks again.

nothing is ever done.....thats the trick. When you're to tired to hold your head up, or too sick to look at it, then maybe its done. But you can always revisit-- theres always more to learn and change...though I have overworked art before and regretted it.

Dope as always man! Not a huge fan of the Odis 2.0 (or the 1.0 for that matter), but it is one of those wacky things that sets you apart from other KZfaqrs and it can be very entertaining (like the episode when you talked about how to get better low-light performance with the a7iii), so hey keep it, why not? make it your signature AI thing... That BMPCC6k camera looks so appealing, but I already have too many!

Yeah the greens out of this thing are really yellowish and I haven't seen too many people able to grade them right (myself included, I'm a grading noob). I picked up your LUT pack. Fertilizer works well to bring foliage back to a more natural look.

MAKE. ART. NOW. I’m not sure about that. I know for regular footage it’s more cpu intensive vs DaVinci gpu intensive. Fun fact (that I heard) people may not know, the free version of DaVinci doesn’t take advantage of multiple gpus.

dude, your channel, and content on your channel, is grossly underestimated and under appreciated. you should have 1.84m subscribers, not the 184k it says at the moment. Your content is leaps and bounds ahead of a lot of other KZfaqrs. Love what you do, keep doing it!!

I’m looking to pick up a second camera and having trouble deciding between the bmpcc6k and the new Sony a7siii. I currently run a Sony a7sii and love it but I haven’t seen anyone compare the 2 cameras yet and usually look to your videos before I make any camera/gear choices. The a7siii looks amazing and it’s what my gut tells me to go with but probably because I already own and a7sii. The appeal of the bm6k is its almost $2k less, I already own all canon glass, I won’t need to run my atomos on it to get raw recording...... choices 😳. What a time to be a content creator 😂😂😂

I'm in the exact same position as you right now, looking to upgrade from an A7SII. Internal Prores and the ability to write to an SSD has me leaning more towards BMPCC. I don't love the crop but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Unfortunately the SSD's cant record data as fast as the fastest cfast cards. They did not upgrade the usb standard that the usb c port uses on the 6k.
