I agree, unless anyone knows otherwise, you had Astarte who were good and were all female but DNS are more consistent and still around today

This band is like an Iceberg. You can see the top of it, but you will never know what lies underneath. You are fascinated by their riffs, performance, etc. and the very unique vocals of Onielar. But there is so much more, it goes so much deeper. I've listened to this album for so many times now and every other time I find something new. It's not that childish Satanism like in Mayhem, Venom, etc., anymore, it's more spiritual, occult and, well, much deeper. It's not the stupidity of a "belief", it's more like the knowlege of gnosticism. They really "know", I have no other word to describe...

That why I've never understood why no one has heard of them. They get little recognition and they are in my opinion the one and true black metal band. They transcend black metal. It's spiritual.When I saw them live in L.A. , I couldn't believe they where here. I was beyond enlightened. They really tap into a different plane. Much respect.

Der Weg Einer Feiheit, Hulder, Winterfylleth, Regarde Les Homme Tomber, Anorexia Nervosa, Sigh, Gehenna. Those are some underappreciated Black Metal bands that sound like Black Metal. You just haven't discovered the right bands.

Finally, a good fucking black metal album. Seems like it's been a decade since the last even half decent black metal release. No droning nihilistic depressed boring fucking pseudo-deep post-black shoegaze inspired space riffs. Actual energy and force, and a real wall of sound crushing down, rather than a fake wall created through production and lazy arpeggios with dirt tone rhythm. That shit was getting old.

Boundless beast it's my favorite song from the album. Swapping the fast pace with midtempo is amazing. And Imperishable Soulless Gown it's the song with the best vocals, Oneila reaches its limits.

I have mad respect for her & personally, she is my favorite female growler, I love all of their music & I particularly love that she/they are apparently, Satanists in real life too ⛧ it's NOT JUST AN ACT FOR PUBLICITY! Me pasa que me doy cuenta que el black metal europeo tiene un sonido mas autentico nose sera el tipo de composicion . Nada que ver con el black metal americano que abuzan de blast beast y tremolo picking. Aklys es un ejemplo. Sera que alla curtieron mas punk con los lejendarios Pistols..? Tambien puede ser los climas que crean en los riffs imitando saltos ,montañas y riscos abismales... En definitiva la geografia ...
