Hello Jerry, I am so glad I watched your video! I have done this mission over 40 times trying to get the weapons to hit their Mark points as suggested in the briefing. Like you, I never got the bombs to hit their target accurately. I can see that by not using the Mark points and doing TMS up on the FCR you were able to get an accurate hit. Thanks for your videos! These videos are great for quick reference. I enjoy your work Fish. When you get time could you show us how you would approach a CAS mission(preferred weapons, good altitudes and so on) ? I am using the HSD/BE cursor to get my FCR and/or TGP close to the point of interest but most often I end up losing my SA looking at sensors, communicating with AWACS and package, most being because things happens so fast, from that I then have to deal with enemy bandits and AAA - Like the bad weather wasn't a big enough of a problem, heh(I have only been onboard since 4.33 and have been playing DCS-A10 before that. Maybe I just need more practice and discipline, maybe you can show some tips to speed up my learning exp.) I really enjoy every minute in 4.33, such good work and such a nice community. +AngelsnRockets my biggest piece of advice would be to play with other, more experienced pilots if you can. It's helped me a huge amount!

+AngelsnRockets Apologies for not replying. CBU's and AGM65's good for CAS, same as in DCS. Always, Always, convert your FCR target area to Markpoint. Then you'll never loose SA on the targets. move cusror on HSD to mark, then 'Freeze' with OSB8. If Target areas is softened (from SA's), gthen for moving targets CCIP if its safe, or TGP point lock from 7 miles out with mav's. (if its safe). If your CAS then focus on CAS. Other pack elements look after CAP, unless you have to defend, then you have to ditch and fight AA, so mission failure, but survival!. Like Mad said below, join a squad or play online. You'll get training from them. AWACS only for looks at Air threats in BMS. Hard to teach these tactics in a video.

+Gerry Abbott pretty much what I was going to say, though I personally haven't progressed to using Mavericks in BMS yet! Good write up mate!

Thank you for the tips to both. Training is what I need and now I have a recipe to follow so I can create a cold served dish of buttkicking to the RED side, and I agree that the process and fun can only increase with multiplayer, as I believe is almost as hard or even harder to actually be good at than the actual game. (I don't want dcs airquake for a while so I might try and look at bms forum for any server related info) Cheers !
