Sir thanks for enlightening us, I watch your videos every day and some parts multiple times to understand things completely and clearly , I have a question which has been troubling me for a long time- Why do we need to look at fundamentals when everything is already discounted in price? I was reading a book written by Stan Weinstein, he says everything is already factored in the price even good fundamentals, before I used to look at fundamentals and was a pure fundamentalist and now after doing some research for a few months I somewhat agree with him, because of which I am stuck in a conflict, my fundamental mind tells me to invest in companies with good fundamentals and my technical analysis side tells me to invest in only those companies which have some kind of momentum, What is your take on this, why invest in good companies with no momentum?

Sir, on your suggestion regarding banning futures on individual stocks. People can replicate futures payoff using call put parity (Buying ATM call and selling ATM Put will give same exposure as buying future). So we need to live in free market. Dear Sir, With a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 17%, 1 crore rupees will become approximately 243.50 crores in 35 years. in today's video @ 27:18 Devendra Divedi ji was asking if his 1.35 crore can become 200 crores in 35 years. Could you please explain why it is not possible. Many mutual funds have given 15-17% in past two decades.

Hello Sir, I used to always be a Nagraaj type investor but in 2020 I was diagnosed with Cancer. I thought if I die my family won't be able to maintain the shares so hastily I sold my entire portfolio at the bottom. My surgery was successful in Sep 2020 but the market recovered sharply and I remained at the sideline and re-entered late. As a result I lost almost half of my life's savings. But slowly I started pouring money into the market from my salary. Again I have accumulated a few crores but I feel that I could have at least double portfolio by now if that mishap didn't happen with me. I have Focused Smallcap and Vision 2030.😢 What's your suggestion for me?

Advance tax for capital gains need to paid on or before the next tax payment due date. You don’t have to estimate your future income at the beginning of the financial year. For example : if you earn STCG or LTCG on 20th Sep. then you pay CG tax on or before 15th Dec. This is how I handle it and they have not charged me penalty interest.

I think the idea that we are unable to calculate advance tax before the end of the fiscal year is rather naive. A broker like Zerodha does provide a mechanism to find the PnL for a date range, with both short and long term data shown. If our short term PnL for these 2.5 months (for mid June payment) is 2L, then simply pay 30000 as advance tax and move on. If you also have long term gains, calculate the 10% of that and add to short term gains, if any, and pay the advance tax. I did track this for the fiscal year 2023-24, and have paid advance tax accordingly. It is really not that difficult.

Hi, Sir jo aap ka skill or speciality he wohi discuss kare. Public mkt pe focused nahi he aur na hi khud ke kaam me is liye yaha waha ki pasand karta he. Advance tax calculation and bharne ke slab he wo hisab se chaliye phir bhi kuch bachta he to self assessment tax bhar do. Har quarter calculation pe samaj aa hi jata he tax kitna aayenga agar kuch jyada hua to self assessment aur kam ho gaya to refund le lo.
