Thank you Robert! To be honest, I can't remember exactly where the rattle was. When it got the lights replaced I just asked them to sort it. Pretty sure it's a common issue unfortunately.

Just needs a walnut blast as it's feeling a bit slower than it should be, not had one in it's entire life to my knowledge as the previous owner was a right cheapskate, it's covered 89,500 miles so definitely overdue. Not cheap... £500! Definitely going to be worth it though.@@car_babble

@@car_babble F30 onwards has electric power steering, as do pretty much all cars now. The main reason for it is economy as you don't need a power steering pump constantly running. It does ruin the steering feel though.

I ran an 2007 E91 320D M sport for 9 years, putting 173k miles on it in that time. An absolutely brilliant car that did everything. I’d still have now if I hadn’t switched off one drive & tangled with another car at a traffic light junction (completely my fault). Really miss the feel & handling of it on A & B roads even after getting a 911 (997) as a weekend car, dropping back into the E91 didn’t feel a massive step back bar the power & sound. Planning on getting an F31 but disappointed to read your comment on the the F31 not feeling as planted and the steering not being as good. Both the 997 & E91 have hydraulic steering so heavier but plenty of feel. Those E91s are something special IMO. F31 is the better looking car even over the G series which I’m just not of a fan of looks wise but the interior is the best of the lot. Sorry for the long ramble! 😀

@BarryCoombs1 yes mate the e91 would be the better choice in my opinion,as I've had the f30 a couple of month's I've noticed stupid little noises in the cabin too like rattles from the door cards and from the parcel shelf,I know it sounds picky but after spending the money I wasn't expecting it to be like that,the build quality has seemed to have had a step backwards sadly,and I'm still not as comfortable with the handling as I was in the e91 so that still hasn't changed,oh I've had a bmw recall for the egr cooler which I've got to wait for them to get the part to be replaced now,🤦🏻
