If it came out with jus manifold being moved, can it go back in the same way ? Or is pt 2 the only way

its a good question. the problem is depending on the alternator you buy the gap between the AC bracket and the block may be insufficient, you can try and force it but risk damaging the plug on the voltage regulator on the alternator. I'll be honest i did try fitting it in but the gap was a couple mm too tight for it to fit in. As you saw in pt 2 i only loosened the bracket bolts.

@@HJsGarage oh okay thanks, because I’m planning on rebuilding alternator so it Would be the same unit. But removing AC bracket is the safest
