I have an AMG as well. Wife has an older SL55. Great car. Super fun. And the torque...wow. I just bought a 2019 440GC as a DD about 2 months ago. So far, it's been amazing. I started off looking to 'settle' for a 430, but spent the extra $$ and got the B58 and glad that I did. It is such a well rounded car...in Comfort its behaves like a peppy little sedan, but slap the car and transmission is Sport and it comes alive. Totally different animal. If anyone reading this is between a 430 and 440, I read one statement on line that sealed the deal for me. Someone posted on bimmerpost that they've NEVER seen someone with a 440 reflect back and think "I should've gotten the 430" but there are a ton of posts fro 430 owners saying "Great car, but I should've gotten the 440." Get the 440

The 440i Gran Coupe is actually a single turbo. If you went up to the M4 of this generation, then you’d get 2 turbos. “The Twin in TwinPower doesn't mean that there are two turbochargers in the engine. I just picked up a pre-owned 2019 F36 440i and really have come to love the B58. Terrific performance for my needs and the Gran Coupe offers me the cargo storage space I want. Love my car.

I bought a 2021 440i GC in Snapper Rock Blue and I love. I’ve had it lowered, added wheel spacers and added a Maxton body kit so it now looks even better.

Thinking of picking one up. I was looking at the newer M440i GC but I think I am fine with this gen.

I get what you're saying but this platform is very practical...power and practicality combined. Plus the two door egress and ingress is not that great due to its long doors. So I can see the reason why BMW have this car

I live in NY/NJ area and would not daily a full blown M car. Even the new more compliant G8X is too much for the broken streets here.

I think the real questions is, why not continue sending wagons to North America. Gets you the 4 doors and an even more practical cargo area. An M340i in wagon form would be the only car you ever need.

Wait...I just bought my 2019 BMW 440I GC back in April of this year, and mines does have a touch screen display. Not sure why your model isn't touch screen??
