I did the muffler delete in my F10 and I love it!! People think I spent thousands on an aftermarket exhaust.

If you're strictly for sound, yes. Muffler Deletes are fine and dandy but if you're going to performance, a legitimate quality exhaust has much more benefits.

Great content from subscriber… I have MHD stage 2+ tune without muffler delete. If I was to delete mufflers, Will the car still burble in comfort mode even if burble is off on tune? trying to only have burble in sport mode? Thanks Dee

I’m about to get a muffler delete soon but a question I have is that when you take off the muffler there is a huge gap between the pipe and the tips . Does the shop provide the pipe or do i get a long exhaust tips ?

I have the same car and i cut off my mufflers and ive been thinking about doing a single chamber muffler to see if it will fix the drone, i have a catless downpipe, K&N Intake, Charge pipe, bigger intercooler, with a MHD tune and a muffler delete

Driving home here is what I noticed Way less drone when cruising little to none But when accelerating it’s either the same maybe even more, but there again I’m also catless downpipe, I bought 2 resenators off eBay for $50 they’re super short and single chamber 3 inch outlets, I’m still mixed feelings about it

Just got a muffler delete on my 535i and there is a lot of drone noise! They put a straight pipe after deleting muffler is that the reason? Could you suggest ?

Sorry just now seeing this. So they left the resonators in place and just deleted the muffler “banks”? It shouldn’t drone bad at all

No such thing as a delete kit , you just cut the thing off and weld the new exhaust tips of your choosing (as long as they fit of course)

I think I paid $360 but it was a performance shop that does tig welding (doesn’t rust) and it came out beautifully 👍
