The main problem of the xCar review is there is no comparison with the competitors, the whole review is how good the car is. Basically, every new car is good on its own. Other than that, review are great. Cheers!

Excellent review. I particularly liked the definition of what a luxury car is intended for. I like how the reviewer adapts well to what each car is designed for and reviews it on that basis - on its particular merits.

I was out on my bike when I spotted you guys driving this around!! I live in Grasse and the road between Saint Vallier de theiy and Seranon is a favourite even in my golf Diesel. The road is used a lot by Harry Metcalfe and yep Chris Harris, there will be some events this year for the bicentennial of the road itself., The Route Napoleon. Nice car in the flesh but would rather drive the road in a little Lotus.

Buying an S-class, people will mistake it to C-class, Audi A8 again it's an Audi they all look really close to eachother. but buying this 7 series you will undoubtedly standout!! and i like the Luxury/sportiness BMW offers BUT i kinda feel S class interior a bit more superior IMO. Again great review, thank you guys!

I'm not a Merc fan overall (except for AMG's) but I have to say that the S class since 2 gen ago it's a better car than the 7series in terms of comfort and "being special inside as a luxury sedan should be". I've been in both and I can guarantee you that the back seats of the S class Lwb are something special, nothing compares to them. Super comfy, roomy, techy, and everything is just exquisite wherever you look. The interior of the S looks enormous when sitting in the back. The 7 series (in particular the previous gen) had far less space in the back seats (I was amazed by the difference in legs space between the two Lwb models) and you feel a lot more cozy overall. So, I would invest my money in the Merc any day, not based on tastes but on real facts and the feeling you have when you are inside the car.

I think the Lexus ls460 is the world's most comfortable car to drive or to be driven in.. that air suspension is like riding on clouds. wow I'll never forget the 1st time I drove my 2003 ls wow what a feeling riding thru rough roads. you dnt feel the bumps and there's hardly any road feedback it's like flying..

This is a huge step up from the old 7 Series, well done.
