I brought the 750 Li to BMW for an oil change and a fluid top up. Upon leaving the engine coolant was out of sight. I returned to BMW and asked the service manager to show me on their 2017 750 how to check the proper coolant level. He opened the wrong cap then the correct one. The level was to far down to see..Maybe its just a common problem that BMW ignores. London Ontario-- Oct 2020.

Thanks for the video, I didn't catch where you can get the billet aftermarket cover from, can you please share that with me. I'd much rather spend the extra money on a better piece and do it one time.

I have a coolant leak in my same exact car. How much total to fix that with labor

630.00 for the part @ a BMW Dealer and 9hrs in R&I for the transmission.. But this particular 7 Series had two issues, a coolant leak,and a transmission rebuild which was near 10k.. Valve body alone was 5k...

Would this cause smoking? Or only the coolant leak on the floor?.. my 2011 550i is smoking after it has been driven for 15 minutes from behind the engine.. it smells like coolant.. I have had the valve cover and vacuum pump gaskets changed already... help?

Yes it could cause smoke,look underneath were the motor meets the transmission. It will show its face there
