Күн бұрынIn this DIY video, our technician Jonas will show you how to replace the clutch and flywheel on a BMW F31 316D N47N. The video includes the tools necessary to perform each step the replacement along with the torque values required.
BE AWARE!
Unfortunately this video does not show that you should apply Loctite to the threats and bolts that hold the flywheel.
This is very important to prevent engine oil to get onto the friction surface of the flywheel which could cause the clutch to slip.

Incorrect greasing procedure. According to BMW TIS, no need to grease the sliding surface of the release bearing, instead only splines should be greased where the clutch disc slides with correct grease which is usually provided with new clutch plate assembly.

is the flex plate clutch preloaded or do you have to use especial tool to loaded??

What size is the clutch alignment tool and where can I order one thanks

The tool has 2 diameters, one end of 15 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length and the other of 26.5 mm in diameter and 45 mm in length ..

After I had replaced a new clutch set on my BMW E87 118D i have difficulties with 1st and reverse when the engine is running, when you drive everything is OK. Also when the engine is off you can smoothly change gears, you start the engine its hard to put it in gear, it goes but not so smooth, any suggestions ?

Nope, just take off the slave cylinder off the gearbox but don't open up any of the hoses \ pipes. It's not necessary

gees , you could have cleaned the gearbox before installing all the new stuff
