Their focus shifts from life's simple delight, To criticizing others, with all their might. Hours spent in gym, and houses of pride, Judging others, as they step aside. Their dreams of perfection become a snare, A vicious cycle, hard to bear. Respect for others' dreams is lost in the haze, As they evaluate all, through their own gaze. I feel sorry for them, trapped in this plight, Chasing perfection, without delight. For in the journey, they forget to see, The beauty of life, in simplicity.
