I drive an E39, but this was super helpful just the same. Just removed those two T25 screws and I was able to diagnose my problem quickly... the motor is fine.

Hi! My drivers seat has failed 100% . It 2007 bmw 335xi twin turbo coupe. Motors or fuse? It slowly shut down so I think its the motors cause I tried a new switch. Your video showed me it could be the motors but no power is going to it either.

Hi, I’m about to work on bmw 430i power seat issue. The passenger side sliding back and forth isn’t working properly. On the seat that is facing driver side move a bit when I turn the switch but not on the other side facing the door. It seems motor is working unless if there are two motors. I have not remove the seat yet. So what could be the reason?

these motors are easily repaired... what happens is there gets to be a filmy grime buildup on the commutator where the brushes ride.. clean them with sand paper, and its fixed.. the motor looks like u cannot take it apart but u can.. very easily. pry the tabs up on both ends, then slide the top and bottom off.
