When this gorgeous example of BMW's 80's flagship was advertised it sold in a rather short time. And in that time it attracted a huge amount of interest. the rarity of the vehicle it self in terms of original sales was one thing. remember these cars were retailed n showrooms when the car cost the same as a flat and there was no easy loan website or such! You HAD to have cash to buy one of these. Past that point many were treated like family barges and the interiors got completely ruined. This example however in its beautiful hue and gadget lined interior and simply awesome light green cloth seats deserves a place in a museum to be honest.
the only gripe I would have against that is that belying its rather ponderous overhangs the vehicle can seriously get up and go. A great vehicle representing an era of wealth that many could not get into and a few owners whose taste were in check.

My dad had one of these for 5 years when I was growing up, I got excited every time we went out in it, I've missed it terribly ever since the day he sold it, thankyou for this video, brings back some great memories of a truly fantastic car!

Yeah totally agree! Such a rare sight nowadays as you had to have REAL money back in the days to buy one, not good credit!

Just bought this beast as my first car recently, and i just love it, i feel like im the old timer mafia when driving it, but it have wiring and rust problem. Will fix it soon and paint it with metallic black. Hehe

+Leroy Miranda Ahhhh thank you I genuienly can't recall to be honest as it was a few years ago now. They are still at a very reasonable price at the moment but will definitely catch up in value
