BMW E30 core support removal / bolt-on conversion

4 жыл бұрынThe welded core support on an E30 makes the removal and installation of the drivetrain difficult. For this reason I decided to cut it off and modify it so it is now bolt-on. This is not the only way it can be done, but I decided to go this way since it will not be apparent once the car is assembled.

Great documentation, thanks for taking the time to film everything so thoroughly. The next time I have to pull my motor I'm doing this, it would make life so much easier. I had to watch it on mute though

@@APEngineering yeah, the selection of royalty-free stuff is pretty limited. I think it would be better with the tool sounds etc in the forefront and something quieter in the background, maybe some narration. Again though, loved how many camera angles there were, everything was in frame and in focus, great editing

Would you sell the brackets you made or give the templates out to those who are able to get them cut out by a shop?
