Hey guys, in this vid I install a hydraulic handbrake that I bought off eBay. When I bought the hydro it came with the wrong master cylinder so I had to buy the correct cylinder to go on it. Any questions please feel free to ask.
Any constructive feedback, ideas and mods for these cars would be muchly appreciated.

Just got an E46 and was gonna do a hydro too! So good to be able to watch a video and know exactly what to expect before finding out the hard way! Love all the E46 videos too man 🔥

I have one question about the abs. Will the car try to use the abs as normal but no longer have control of the individual rear wheels? Or will the abs light come on and it will no longer work at all?

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. The ABS will no longer lock up the individual wheels and I can’t remember if the ABS light came on or not - I’ve sold the car since.

seems like It's really worth paying premium brands when we're talking about car parts. Every time you buy something from eBay you get scammed haha. Your videos are very helpful

Great Video Dude! But I've a question. Why didin't you use Braided Brake Hoses, such motorbikes? They would be more flexible and easy to install.

Man I am spewing I didn’t see this before I bought my hydro 🥲 Just out of curiosity where do you get the bubble flare adapters for the 3/8 fittings. Do you have a link of the bubble fittings by any chance? I’m in Australia too and having a hard time finding any.

Hey man, yeah they were a real pain in the arse to source in Aus and that’s why I bought them from America. I actually bought extra just in case people in Aus see this and asked me this question and I was just gonna post them one and I’d do the same for you, but I have actually moved states and don’t actually know where they ended up 😢😢

Hi I have the same car and followed your video I’ve connected it Up the same way as to I have but mine i my seems to work if i I pump the brake first, it’s like it loses pressure I don’t have any leaks, any ideas ?

Have you bled the system well to remove all air bubbles trapped in the lines?

Did the same setup and the rear wheels lock up and the car won’t move

How do you turn off ABS on these cars? I've heard if you pull the fuses it goes into limp mode and I've heard some folks say you can pull the right rear speed sensor but I've never tried. Maybe possible to tune it out?

I just hold the Traction Control button down for 10 sec

@@marinocustombuilds Not sure if its different for american cars or what but the first press turns off traction, the long hold turns off stability control but the abs is still on with my car.

@@kennethvanes From what I understand pulling the fuse will put it in a sort of limp mode where the rev limit will kick it at around 5k.
