hello, thank you, the ssg gearbox is very similar or identical to the standard gearbox ( manual ). the length is also the same therefore you can use the existing cardan shaft. all components in the ssg gearbox must be removed and are mounted on the gearbox, including the control unit otherwise there are error messages. the complete wiring harness of the ssg would also have to be removed but i have left it in my car. And yes first you have to unplug all cables from the ssg before removing the transmission

Hi, you don't really have to wiring anything, the signal for the reverse lights at the transmission you can use from the original wire harnness, all the another things you can code out with the INPA software, here a good video and chanel how to do it kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fM9ypZSZntCUkok.html If you have cruise control option you have to change the chlutch position sensor and wired new on the DME. In my case i don't have wired at the moment and it's the only thing is not working. This sensor you can also code out

You can reuse the rear half of the shaft but you have to replace the front because the manual driveshaft is longer than automatic , the manual transmissions are shorter than the automatics.

Hi, you can use the same flywheel and the gearbox bolts. In my case i leave the clutch and the press plate too, but the clutch pedal its to hard to press, in future i must chance this too from e factory 330i or something similar

Hi, i'm not sure if you can do it this way. In my case i code the start/clutch signal in the ecu out, so you can start the car without pressing the clutch pedal . I hope i can help you
