hi, was wondering if you can give me a step by step guide? i dont havea clue in doing this

i have an E60 LCI and its the same as on your key that i have to press only once to activate it. I've heard from a lot of people that they have to press twice in order to activate it. Since i dont want the "follow me home lights" to turn on evertime i open the trunk, i would like to change it to pressing it twice, does anyone have an idea how this can be changed?

No need to use new light module, this has been tested on 05 and 03. You will have to edit CAS and LMA modules: LMA: HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL >> aktiv LMA: HEIMLEUCHTEN_KL58G_1 >> aktiv CAS: SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM >> panikalarm Pathway light duration is the same as home lights duration, and home/pathway lights can be triggered 3 times, after that you will have to turn the ignition on again. No need to set lights knob to "auto" in order to use welcome lights. Hope it explains it all, enjoy!

It does not cost anything you just need NCS expert and follow my instructions in 1st post. The car in the video is 2005 so pre-LCI.
