BMW X5 3.0D E70 2009 South Africa. Thanks for the tips my friend. I repaired my bro's iDrive controller. It wasn't selecting when you push down on it. Stripped the module and found some corrosion on the circuit board. Used Electro Spray and a Toothbrush to clean it up.... Also sprayed the multiplug. It now seems to be working perfectly.

Do you know of a way to remove the center armrests on a 2016? I've looked and look and can't find anything. I want to wrap the 2 aluminum trim to the sides of the console and they won't come out unless I remove the center armrests.

My next project I wN to change the entire cup holder tray because she also broke few of the roller blind slides.I saw you also were try to remove it? Where you able ?
