Perfect. I had the brakes replaced on my 328i convertible and waited 45 minutes after the actual work was done while the shop tried to figure out how to reset the light. I wound up coming home with the light still on. I scoured the net looking for help and found this video. I had already gone through a dozen before anyone told me how to put the ignition into accessory mode for a manual transmission. Once I had that info, the rest was easy. Thank you so much.

I enjoy your BMW videos and they have saved me a lot of money, so thanks for that…. QUESTION: I don’t have a scan tool and auto businesses will not reset the codes on my 2008 BMW 328i. I recently completed a new spark plugs / Ignition coils replace. How can I reset the memory or codes without a scan tool without damaging the computer. I’ve heard disconnect the Negative Battery Terminal for a few minutes and hook back up…???

Great, was trying to reset some error on my bmw e87 2005 but nothing happening. You have explained the very important point(remove the error indicator from the screen before pressing the nob for 3 seconds). Highly reccomend to wacth and follow you🥰🥰🥰

Can it be reset again once it’s been reset once I reset it because I was trying to get rid of service light so I reset oil change before I did the oil change then when I did do the oil change I can’t reset it anymore because I already reset it any advice?

Dany Castellanos Horta I believe your car will have the older style dash. I think the steps are the same, put key in car, press start button with out pressing brake/clutch,. Instead of this video, you have to use the bc button on your indicator stalk while pressing the brake. There are videos on here that can explain it better as I have this newer style dash. I hope that helps you. 🙂

I tried this and got every step right even to the point of the >RESET and the little clock and it's still does not reset. This is after swapping all brake pads and flushing new brake fluid. Could something else be wrong that it's not allowing a reset?

Dude im an intermittant watcher of your videos. First let me say thank you. From time to time I drop in and try to watch. I have not made it through one. Respectfully, what kills it for me is the accent. I know you cant help the pronunciation. But there are other things you can do to make it more sonically pleasing. I hope you dont mind if I reccomend one thing: STOP SAYING "Guys" A THOUSAND TIMES A VIDEO!!!!!! If you don't believe me, go back and watch all of your videos. You do not have one single video in the entire time that you have been posting videos that you are not using the word "guys" within the first 30 seconds. Bruh?! Can ya chill already ?
