BMW F650GS Chain Adjustment

Күн бұрын2012 f650gs 800cc machine, non-lowered (but spec mentioned in video for lowered version). Torque spec for nut is 100nm. Note my chain started getting surface rust within 10 minutes of washing the machine due to the incredibly high humidity and high temperature here in the desert during the Monsoon season. I was surprised by this in that I use PJ1 Chain Lube every 1000 miles or after each thorough washing. Never use Permanent Strength or High Strength Loc-Tite on the adjuster nut - only use low or medium strength, if you use any at all. Same with 3-Bond - use only a small amount of low strength if you use any at all!

Hallo Cristian. Camera is Canon T3i. Focus problem is because my camera helper (my son) is away at college now. I have to hold the camera, record, do the work all at the same time. I will get better at it - I am starting to use a tripod now. Thanks for watching our videos. I miss working in Germany! It is very hot, hot, hot here in the USA desert southwest!

Hallo, meine Name ist Cristian (from Cologne, D) and are a subscriber of your channel. I find great what you do and presentations are very clear and interesting, but I have a small inconvenience. السلام عليكم ارجوك ارجوك محتاج مساعدتك انا من العراق وعندي دراجه BMW650 لا احد يعرف تصليحها عندما اقوم بتشغيل الدراجه بفتره قليله تصعد الحراره فورا وعندما انضر إلى العادم الصالنصه يكون لونه احمر ساخن جدا ما هوه السبب ارجوك رد

you have a 150/70 r17 tyre, but on my F650GS i only have 140/80 R17 how did you get allowed to do this mod?

+Andrea Bruno The tire that is on the bike in this video is the one it came with. The dealer did change the tires out for some more offroad-oriented ones before I bought it, though, so perhaps that's why they're a different size. You can replace your stock tires with whatever size you wish, though, unless your road laws disallow it (here in the US where the bike is kept, there are no regulations on tire size for cars, trucks, or motorcycles).

Porto Rider They're Heidenau, though I don't remember the model and the bike is at another of my houses so unfortunately I can't check at the moment. They are actually pretty good tyres if you ride offroad, and last a good bit of time. Thanks for watching!
