Absolutely the best motoring series in years

The F80 really looks good in person! Watching videos and looking at pictures doesn’t do it justice!

Such a beautiful car! Many people didn't like the F80 M3 when it was new but now I think they're realising what a fantastic car it is. It holds its own against the others. I love it!

Great little series, please do one for Audi RS models and AMG Black Series machines too!

Several things: - The M3 CS is actually a "M3 GTS" in the official registration documents, for insurance too. - People bash the "CS" because "too expensive" bla bla blah. But they never drove one. Drive one, back to back to others cars and you will be amazed. - The CS in the video has Pilot Super Sports, better suited for that wet weather. But you get a narrower front tires with the PSS, 255/35 R19 vs 265/35 R19 if you have the Cup2s. - The sound is amazing and it does not have the synthetic thingy to generate it, like the other M3s, etc. Was thinking about getting the MPE for it or an Akrapovic. No need. It sounds perfect as it is. Loud too when you want it. - It is amazingly frugal for its power. Between 9 and 12 liter/100 km for a mix of normal/sport driving and city/smaller roads/highway. - The wheels are bespoke, forged and a pain in the ass. Attract stones like a magnet and cost a fortune if you want a set for your winter tires as well.

I never write comments, but I have to, just this once. Henry - you are one of the best car journalists out there. I have steadily started watching this channel properly over the last couple of weeks and what a joy it has been. Originally I figured this channel was one of the many sub par car reviewing channels that seem to plague this platform, however I think it is safe to say that this channel is one of the few and far between 'sacred car channels' and I have grown to getting excited watching these pop up in my recommended tab. In fact, I have had to actually turn on notifications, something I absolutely never do, so that has got to be saying something. Stick at it - you are destined for greatness if you keep the momentum and quality as high as these videos and cheers for the content!

my favorite series in a long time on any channel (being a bmw fan it should be), the cinemetography was excellent and the video's were just so well put together. Glad it was Henry who did this.

I drove a CS a few times while working for BMW. I own an M2 but otherwise think BMW's slightly lost a step. I didn't much like the F80 / F82 in all its configurations, but the CS blew my mind. Truly an incredible machine hitting way above its weight class. Not justified by numbers, the CS needs to be experienced. One of the best cars to drive like you stole. Thank you BMW

Interesting comment re: previous oem braking. The factory pads on the e30-e92 are great street pads. Track...not so much. Proper pads and fluid makes all the difference.

Wow, for that price I can buy 5 e46 M3s, one for each day of the week and enjoy the pure s54 sound at 8K rpms!

best car I ever have driven. Just a joy to drive. I have not driven the E90 CRT but in compared to all the others the CS is by far the most desirable. The price of the E92 GTS is ridiculous.

The E92 and E46 are gorgeous.

I sore a e92 m3 30,000 miles 15k what a bargain of a car only 1 generation behind this for just about everyone it would be a epic car even for those who can afford a Cs.

IMO the E46 CSL is the best looking M3. Looks absolutely stunning!

CS in actuality probably has closer to 80-90WHP more than the GTS. they normally dyno around 440WHP and E9x dyno around 350WHP

absolutely lovely serie with good quality content, loved watching every one of them. Still 1 thing that lacks for me, you shouldve set laptimes, so that also the evolution in speed could somewhat be representative.

Somehow the F80 M3 CS is the lesst desirable to me. E46 M3 CSL would be my top pick, but in the end I am happy with my E36 M3GT, even if I have modified it.

All this time I thought CS stood for Competition Series or something of that ilk. Granted I'm not a Bavarian specialist, but dang it.. Add: That said as I look at the lines of this car, even with the addition of two doors, it still looks like a more modern take on the E46 and the predecessors in between. Then we jump to the current model and you have to wonder, where did it all go wrong?

I love my F80... and the annoyed faces of my suburban neighbors when I drive it
