Is the BMW F900R good value for money? Seemingly yes.
Considering its competitors I would say you get a lot of bike for your money. It's a great all rounder, sharp, tight and agile. What's not to like?

It's a bike you can like and see lots of sense in but I don't think it's a bike you could love and open the garage door just to look at. As pcp transport it's hard to fault. As a buy with your own money pride and joy, it's not cutting it. I've never owned a bike with any electronics, so ABS and traction control would be plenty enough for me!

Good review. Yeah , what's a "middle weight" or "heavy weight" these days ? Once upon a time when I was a young child (mid 1970s), 750 to 900 cc was a BIG bike, 500 middle weight, 250cc light weight. Assuming a 1300 cc KTM Super Duke is now "heavy weight" ( but it's not really that heavy for its engine size! ) and a 400cc A2 bike is lightweight, I guess 600 to 900cc is "middle weight" . The Rocket 3 and it's like I guess is in "monster weight". IoM TT, the 600cc bikes are apparently "light weight" ! Yeah , I'm confused. Nice bike, although it doesn't really "grab" me looking at it. The BMW S1000R is the beemer that "grabs" me, especially if they sort out it's asymmetrical headlights (as they are rumoured to be doing)

As fun as this BMW may be I wouldn't go for it. A fun cheep do it all bike with all the electronics ones needs is out there Suzuki GSX-S750. A proper midle capacity naked 900cc is a bit to big to be called middle capacity. It's the Swiss army knife of motorcycles. Track day you can touring why not commuting everyday plus it's cheep and cheerful and it will last forever and insurance and maintenance will be cheeper then the BMW. But some people wil prefer the BMW badge and that is fine by me :)

I agree with you on the Suzuki, that is really good value for money on a really versatile machine.

@@RarefiedRoad well with the new Triumph Trident in the works (euro 5 detune 675 engine) cheeper brakes suspension and swingarm this might me the new king of the middle capacity naked I recon it will be running round A2 spec normal A license will be round 85bhp cause more would make it to close to Street triple. As long as Triumph won't go silly with the price(it needs to be round 7K pounds) it can be a really interesting proposition to a mt07 SV650 /gsxs750 and kawasaki Z650 and Honda cb650 range.

The GSX-S750 is a buzzy inline four. I don't see how it compares to the F900R.

@@_audacerider3838 Triumph don't have that realibility of japanese motorcycle, most of the buyers of Triumph are old men and younger guys that think they are different. Always keep japanese motorcycle and European out of comparison.

Not great value for money compared to a z900 mt09. In the USA these are all at the dealers for street triple r money. Made in China, endless bmw option packages won’t tempt anyone from their Japanese competition. This bike has no wow factor .

The Japanese bikes you've mentioned are all made in Thailand. Not exactly better than China. LOL. It all comes to the specifications and supervision BMW and the Japanese brands does to the countries they're outsourcing to. Wow factor is a bit more subjective though. I don't dig the plastic-ey design of F900R but I can see why others see it as a beautiful bike. Cheers

Yep. Can't say I ever tweak my forks but it's a strange concession not to have adjustability.

Value for money ? If it was a proper BMW at that price probably yes. But the truth that the Dealerships try to conceal is that this bike come complete with a cheap Chinese parallel twin engine that may or may not stay the test of time. You can add all the gadgetry you like to a machine but true motorcyclist will understand that the heart of a good motorcycle is the engine and with a cheap Chinese rattle box its never going to be the real McCoy. This machine is merely a styling exercise with BMW badge slapped on it to fill a gap in the market that BMW didn't have a place in. They will sell a few to mugs that think this is a BMW motorbike but ultimately this bike will be quietly dropped from their range after they have sat in the showrooms gathering dust. So to answer the question Value for money ? Absolutely not.

@@MrSnoopysatis There is nothing wrong with debate. The publisher of this video is asking it's viewers if they think it is value for money . There Will be two answers to that question.Those that think it is and those that think it's not both backed up with the reasons as to why they arrived at that conclusion. There is no right or wrong answers just opinions and that is fine. Then there are those who cannot make a valid contribution but are just hateful towards anyone that has a different opinion to their own. Despite what the education system teaches the current generation of snowflakes. Difference of opinion and debate is a healthy thing. The idea being there is no right or wrong but have the ability to persuade those with difference of opinion to rethink their position based on facts.

@@pggp273 People who think covid is hoax or many more thing that completely false should not be take as serious as any other valid argument. Saying this generation is snowflake quite the opposite. This generation is probably most fact checking generation. Having debate is fine but some who is saying covid is hoax because of fake news and 5g phone cause diffrent viruses should not be take seriously without any justification other than article I pulled about some dumb guy wrote.

China has the best manufacturing in the world. (And also the worst). But it's an old trope at this point, to dismiss all Chinese products as low quality. And it's 9 grand for a brand new 900. That's cheap, dude.

@@progste Dude, 9 grand for 900cc brand new is a good price in any universe. I'm not even a BMW fan, just can admit that.
