I’m planning on getting a 2016 330i. It’s done 33K miles and it costs £17K. I then want to stage 1 remap it to 300hp. Is there anything you’d recommend doing to the car in terms of sound? Something that would be legal and passed MOTs without any issues? I’m from the UK. Also, have you had any problems with yours? Have you modified it In any way? Thanks

make sure you get the m sport model. The bumpers on it are WAY better looking. It doesnt add any performance but I promise you wont regret spending the extra 1-3k on the bumpers. The compatibility with mods is way more on the m sport model.

Yes it‘s an OPF car.

Klick two times the sport button left of the shifting knob. The crackle is normal - it also does crackle in the normal sport mode. But as i know there is no sport plus mode in US Models. I don‘t know why.

It is 4709 mm = 185.39 inches The G20 Sedan always have the same length. So its identical with the 320i. Its still longer than the previous version of the 3 series. Only the M3 is a bit longer than the normal 3 series.

Version 07/2021.85 Ich habe technisch am Fahrzeug nichts verändert. Das ist ein großes Thema in der G20 Community und eine klare Antwort darauf gibt es meiner Meinung nach nicht. Die Theorie: Durch geänderte Gesetzeslage mussten die Fahrzeuge mit dem Update 07/2019 im Klang gedämpft werden. Es gab viele Beschwerden bei BMW und man hat dann wohl wieder den Sound angehoben aber nur bei Modellen bis Baujahr 07/2019. War dein Auto bei Auslieferung „leise“ bleibt es das auch. So habe ich das zumindest verstanden.

@@JJSM-cz7sm Glad to hear but you can‘t compare the EU Model with the US Model. The Exhaust is way different because the EU Models all got the OPF which make the cars a lot quieter. Sad but true.

I have no distancers on my car. It depends on you personal preferences and the country you live. Normally 15mm distancers for each wheel is no problem. But check the laws so maybe you need to register them for your car (like in germany). Search for „Eibach Pro Kit“ on google and you should find something to make your car a bit lower and wider. Hopefully i could help you. 🤌
