The BMW i3 has gone through many iterations, most notably the battery upgrades from 60 to 94, and subsequently 120Ah, which have brought weight increases.
Additionally, the earlier versions could be had with the petrol Range Extender, while the later BMW introduced a dedicated sportier S version.
