Sensacional!!!

There is so much better quality in this video than the last video I watched. I’m guessing when all is said and done it cost the company around 10 to 12 thousand to build the entire vehicle. It’s sold for $40,000 plus. That’s a nice profit

@SpiderF27
@SpiderF27 4 жыл бұрын
@@Lawrence0S No they didn't cleaned just for this filming. Probably you don't know Germans, they prepare the factory for TUV inspection now and then with absolute general cleaning and safety but sincere to be, there is almost no way to accumulate any dirt or garbage. Beside that working in BMW factories won't bring you to far, their salaries are a shame. One of my brothers work for BMW for more then 22 years and he don't earn more then a kitchen-porter here in Dublin. At least as a kitchen-porter you'll get free drink/food and a bit of tips too )) Engineers and upper class yes, they earn sound money but not the few human robots that are left over there.

Fantastic video. Tremendous technology. factory is extremely clean, people are all in uniform, machines are very well kept and clean. Everything is a state of art. About Europeanautosource who post the video, my congratulations for a so good video and the best: not music at all. The best music in videos are the natural sound produced by machines, people working, compressed air, that particular noise of the robotics, and many other sounds produced by the assembling process. A must to watch video. I loved.

Simply amazing automation. The jigs alone are a work of art. I struggle though to understand how the cost of such a development can ever prove profitable for one type of electric vehicle. I guess this would also proof test the concept of automating carbon fiber production. Still, they must have expected to sell a lot of units.

On the 3rd hand cars didn't get cheaper, even they're made with less and less people who are the biggest cost factor in production. Yet the car industry again cries after tax payers money _(at least in Germany)_ and are still paying huge dividend to their shareholders.
@gregparrott
@gregparrott 4 жыл бұрын
@@FabFunty Newer cars certainly cost a lot more. But a large part of that is the addition of airbags, anti skid, traction control, tire pressure monitor systems, collision avoidance, lane detection, high end stereos, navigation systems, 8 to 10 speed transmissions, superior metallurgy in the frame and engine, advance fuel injection systems, heated/cooled/ and even massaging seats, multi zone climate control, built in WiFi hotspots, multiple cameras, large touchscreen displays, 'Onstar' or equivalent satellite based communications systems, video infotainment systems, automated parking assistance, etc. Labor used to be the largest cost factor. But that's no longer clear, at least to me. Some of these robotic systems are hideously expensive yet are deemed cost effective because of the reduction in required labor force. The number of costly mandatory recalls and liability claims have increased as well. The taxpayer bailout issue is a tough one, whether it's automotive, bank or insurance (AIG) bailouts. Citizens suffer while the heads of these companies have the gall to still issue huge bonuses to a select few. At a minimum, that should be illegal. At the same time, whether it is the U.S. or Germany, can you imagine a major industrial country having one of its top two or three automotive manufacturers vanish, along with the jobs and skills associated with it? Manufacturing is a strategic asset, especially as relates to transport and energy. The U.S. has apparently lost much of its medical manufacturing infrastructure. The Covid debacle serves as a wake up call that manufacture of medical supplies & medicines are also strategic assets which any major industrial country must preserve.
