In this episode of the series Video Installation Tutorial for the BMW i3 / i3S, we introduce you to our Plug & Play speaker upgrade with new door speakers with vehicle-specific fit, and new tweeters in specially designed tweeter surface-mounted housings. The set is suitable for vehicles without the factory sound system. The performance and brilliance of the loudspeaker system increases significantly, whether on the factory radio or in conjunction with our DSP sound upgrade. The video tutorial shows all the steps: dismantling the door panels, converting the bass-midrange speakers, connecting them, and mounting the tweeter recordings. This is how a smart, professional installation can be copied!
The upgrade sets consist of Audiotec Fischer's Helix Compose 100mm loudspeakers and a vehicle-specific adaptation with a newly designed inner mirror panel, which accommodates either a titanium tweeter or a silk high-end tweeter. The connection is made without laying cables and without any changes to the vehicle.
