Kelvin Waters I mean, yes, if you actually really want to go full electric the Tesla S is basically the only good option. However, not all the people are ready for that. People who travel a lot can't rely on the limited range, people who live far from fast charge stations could also run into problems, etc. Full electric is a great option in some cases. I honestly believe it. But right now it's in its adolescence, it's not the holy grail some people think it is. Not just yet.

Isnt that still an full electric car? This is not mate, its an hybrid and the "pumping of engine sounds into the cabin" is the experience thing because the engine note is unlike any of the previous bmws.

It's because BMWs are so well buttoned together they have very good sound deadening. Close that door and the car gets dead silent. So they pipe in the engine noise. It's the epic battle between luxury and sportiness that BMW is trying to make co-exist. And doing an excellent job at it I might add.
