HiYa! I have an issue that you may be able to help me with. I purchased a satnav update which the so called codes never worked, after I enter the code issued a message comes up saying (The activation code is incorrect code) after sometime of trying to obtain the correct code I pushed to reinstall factory settings but I still don't have satnav, its still looking for a code. Any help may guide me in the right direction.

Sorry no idea about your code. However, If your vehicle is compatible and still wish to purchase satnav, I would suggest buying it from bmw connect. Just type on google bmw connect and go to official BMW website. I hope this helps.

I’ve got a bmw 1 series f20 2014. When I turn the ignition on, the screen turns on stays on BMW. I’ve tried the reboot method and it doesn’t work. I’ve checked on bmw whether my car needs an update and it’s on the latest update. Does the fuses need replacing and which ones or so I simply have to replace the entire thing and how much would it cost?

Hi Anton, is your vehicle UK based? I would suggest you to update the idrive software if your experiencing any glitches or connection issues. We have a dedicated video on idrive update.

I bought my car from Japan everything is in Japanese esp the radio, voice command and navigation do I need to replace it or can it be resent completely to factory reset or what can I do 😢

Yes you can change the language via idrive system settings

Which year is your vehicle? You can set location of the car to your local too. You might want to visit your local BMW if no you cannot change the location of the vehicle.
