Thanks for the vid. Just did the install. Tip: its much easier to release and re install the spring with the arm rest UP (open). That takes some of the tension off the spring making it easier to press in/out.

Thanks you really helped me today... I took out the whole corall red m-sport interior, but couldn’t find out how to take out the armrest, but you really helped me... i saw you had the three coulor stiching, I really like that, I dont like the white stiching as much... I have m135 f20, bought m-sport alcantara interior, but they just have the armrest in black leather, I want it in alcantara, and the Mperformance alcantara is just whith white stiching, I can’t find yours as with the three coulors stiching for my car...?

Hi there. Just saw the video the second time in a while. I know know for what the gear piece is. Because I Broke it off 🥴. It's for the led light to Turn in Inside the middle console. When you Open the armrest, the gear piece turns and activates the led Switch. I am trying now to fix it Becouse that piece is not for sale on it's own. And you find it no where in the net. Greetings from Germany Edit. Sorry. I was wrong. It has to be for smooth opening. Becouse there is no cable and nothing to it. I just gut the entire round Insert out. It looked like it was the Switch becouse right next to is the cable for the led light. But I don't know that small bearing gear Thingy should smoth something that big as the armrest. Anyhow. Now I am more calmed since I know it's not for the led light. Greetings
