As a BMW owner for many years, I can categorically tell you to not buy BMWs or any German car brands. JD Power has rated them as amongst the most expensive to service and maintain and they are hugely unreliable. They are difficult to work on and the parts are stupidly expensive. Too many BMW fan boys out there unfortunately. Don't expect much help on the forums either, like I said they are far too overcomplicated, even experienced mechanics struggle with them. Save yourself the headache and money. Go for South Korean or Japanese makes.

Absolutely and completely wrong with models with a B58 engine. By far one of the most reliable engines BMW has ever made. I've had mine for 5 years, with way more mods than this guy has and it has been absolutely rock solid reliable. Our GD honda jazz ate rear wheel bearings every 20-30k before this, so its not like japanese stuff is perfect. Research and you will see B58 is solid. I wouldnt touch a BMW v8 though, they are shite

30000 miles since I bought mine just tires (obviously), been a solid reliable (touch wood) car, and it's fantastic, smokes loads of high end supposedly faster more expensive cars too, highly recommended car

Jesus Christ everywhere I look there’s a dead ting m140i video on KZfaq 😅😂😂 Everyone is obsessed with them who can’t afford a proper M car or an rs3 or Mercedes etc. They are good for getting power out of them but they are just a cheap clapped out 1 series with a big engine. A 17 year old on minimum wage could afford 1. 😂🤣
