I love thr GTR but where I stay they the same price as the M8 competition so much more car and comfort on offer from the M8 carbon ceramic brakes etc etc...

Yep. As an m340 owner that has driven a GTR I can say that even with all the tuning an m340 is not in the same class as a GTR. Not even close. GTR is an absolute monster.

FYI, in the US, a new 2024 M340i is about $65k and you can get a 2021 with 32k miles for $43k. For the GTR, you can get a 2016 with 42k miles for $81k.

The only negative I see here is the bmw driver is taking off In second gear maybe to reduce wheelspin or save the transmission.

1st race gtr tskes off late and bogs 2nd. 2nd race gtr doesnt shift into 2nd. Lmfao... 3rd race gtr took off slightly 2 early bjt it was super close 4th race looks good amd the gtr takes it.
