10:29. It's actually the Superchargers you feel instantly and the turbos kick in at higher rpms. However I believe you when you say this car goes instantly. My dad has the F83 M4 and he let me drive it. The way it boosts so quickly for a turbo is amazing. It's a twin turbo setup, so they tried to make it spool up as fast as possible. I plan on getting the F82 M4 in the future. As for the crank hub. The issue was blown out of proportion. I saw another viewer telling you it's only about 2% who get this issue. What usually leads to hub failure are hard downshifts. You should really worry about the hub when you're going to tune it to about 550 hp, which is a stage 2 I believe. Also I think it's better you for the DCT, because crank hub issues are more likely to happen in the Manuel version. I suggest you buy the one piece hub. You mentioned Precision so you basically already know where to go.

these cars sound best when they have equal length or single mid pipes. i personally prefer the more throaty sound of the single mid pipe. you’re gonna wanna keep the down pipes and/or the mid pipes resonated so you don’t get too much rasp because the s55 engines are known for how raspy they can get. active autowerke makes resonated mid pipes and ARM makes some resonated cat less downpipes, for reference. an aftermarket muffler will also increase sound a lot especially since the non comp pack cars get the most sound deadening from factory.

also i’d definitely say go with the downpipes and maybe even a different exhaust setup as a whole i have a full armytrix exhaust and i’d say my downshifts and upshifts are pretty damn crisp

F8X is a great platform, the perfect balance of comfort and power .

damn hearing you say you perfer the DCT over a manual makes me second guess my option. i would trust your opinion because your s2k was boosted so i would imagine how fun it was. i want to get a manual f80 just to enjoy it a little bit more i don't really care to be fast or anything but for sure going to think about the DCT as an option.

No sound will ever compare to the E92 M3, man! That is the best sound ever coming out of an M car, IMO. Nonetheless, for the best sound on the S55, you gotta go non res AAEL, paired with resonated ARM downpipes.

Dct is better, and faster. These cars were not made for manual after the e46. Unless u mod the shifter, selector rod, clutch, flywheel, lines etc. The 6mt isn't good at all. (For the e92 m3)
