Capristo sounds surprisingly fantastic with a clean and consistent sound throughout the rev range. Akrapovic would be second for this one :-)

Hamann sounds the throatiest and most refined. Others kinda sound like ricers. Capristo was good too.

I realllllly like the FI exhaust, though it does bring up the salient point that modern Ms don't really have the aural thrill anymore.

In my personal opinion the best exhaust systems for this car are not even here and that's Armytrix and ipe..but that AC schnitzer sounded ok actually ..didint think it would but it did

I think there´s nothing to complain about. All those people hating the M4´s sound. Sure, the E9X was another league, because V8. But in my opinion the straight-six sound somehow belongs to the M3s or generally the M division.

Came here hoping to find a good sounding exhaust for the f80... Unfortunately they all sound awful. It really is a deterrent for potential buyers. Yes the car performs flawlessly and it's built like a rock but sometimes you just want to roll down your windows and hear the engine noise.. With this car I would keep my windows up..

+graff smakn It's okay to point something out when it's true, it doesn't make his outlook on life shitty. I'm on the verge of trading my RS5 for an F80 M3 because I want a manual transmission, but the one thing holding me back from doing that is the terrible sound of the M3/M4. Hard to go from a screaming V8, to a weed whacker honda civic fart can turbo I6.
