its all in his head. the throttle response is no different. The difference comes when under full boost it just adds more boost into the engine.

My mates m8 comp is much quicker with traction fully off , mess with your esp too it definitely pulls harder! Were in Scotland and the weather is shitty aswell. But if you don’t care enough that you leave that dummy plug and loom in there you must realise a tech will see it IMMEDIATELY so just remap it and you really will see a HUGE difference. 👍🏻 just spotted this is 3yrs old so you probably don’t have the car now. Hope you enjoyed it while you had it though there beast’s. 💪🏻

I really love this; wish you kept your BMW. But seriously we need to more mods to your personal truck, we want to see more offroading videos. Try to install the best suspension system for offroading, try at least to improve the performance and how is the truck looks. Very excited to watch your upcoming videos.

I don't think this will happen any time soon, but who knows. But I think Ford Mustang will be great for him instead of getting an expensive BMW car.

@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS I think it's better for your truck to make it ready for off-roading instead of racing, or maybe of you want to tune it, then the torque is what you need to focus on. Anyways, I can't wait for your upcoming videos >>> Hope to surprise us with something that we never expect to guess :-)

I tried, he bought LED lights for the celling that day but couldn't mount them over the engine bay and we had a magnetic light but the hood is aluminum. Thanks for watching.

I think stock 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 can beat that number. Do you know the total number of hp and torque can this BMW M8 makes with this chip?

It can make up to 744HP I think the GT would be limited by traction.

A Shelby GT 500 is a plastic junk box. Zero build quality. Nothing but engine.

Hey Brian, I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2018, can I install a Race Chip to my SUV? How convenient is to do it? Thank you for your answers.

Race chip doesn't make anything for the Grand Cherokee, they mainly deal with turbo engines. Diablosport, Superchips and SCT do make tuners for it which are just easy plug and play. AFE makes nice intakes and exhausts for it which would make full use of a tune.

wow does it really add that much, mine says it adds 92 on my 11 x5m, i dont know how to tell i mean its fast in sport plus and m mode. but i don't know if it adds almost 100hp on mine.

Only way to know for sure is to put it on a dyno before and after but if that’s what they are advertising, I would believe it. Thanks for watching!

....does this impact the new car factory warranty? Could the dealership’s service department able to find out if the vehicle is tuned using this method (piggyback)?

Yes, this could definitely void your warranty. I would remove it before taking it to the dealership. I believe DINAN is the only tuner that won’t void it.

@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS ....was just informed by an acquaintance that the dealership’s service departments can still find out...since vehicle’s internal system can log the info should service department decided to review ECU/DME history even though the (piggyback) system is removed prior to any service/repair being done. I guess this is one of the main reasons tuning is not advised when the vehicle is under factory warranty....especially w/ extended warranty.

I got an M8 too and asked about the Dinan, was told it is not recommended, should any fault with the tune would result in warranty items not covered. Completely sucks, bc I wanted to get it tuned, the down side of a lease I guess. Wish BMW would offer tuning.

You can put it back to stock with the dummy plug.

Yes, race chip makes 3 different models for your car. The GTS Black will give it the most power

my engine is a 2.9 twin turbo and in their website engine is not available under selection

These piggyback tunes aren’t good for drivetrain in the long run. Ecu tunes are the way to go. This guy piggybacking a brand new car is a bad move

I had a 2011 335i n55 awd I had MHD worked great stage one plus with no mods no problem was reliable. I am a big fan of your channel and I live in the Pittsburgh area
