I think the prices are competitive. You definitely get what you pay for. Ive got a '12 R1200R and I've been pretty happy with my bike and dealer support since the day I bought it.

It looks like these bikes are assembled with a great degree of care. The workers don't appear to be stressed or rushed. There's a very good flow among them as well. It's nice to see.

Geert Van Nerum There are tours of the factory available, just book in advance on line, mostly in German also English, other languages on request, I went on a tour in French. If you are a member of a BMW Motorrad Club there is a discount available, certainly used to be, some years since I visited the factory. Sadly no free samples at end of tour. If interested there are tours of the car plants as well. Highly recommended if in Berlin, car plants elsewhere in Germany.

Happy owner of a 2012 R1200RT. Had a 2009 R1200RT prior to the 2012. Ride all year round, never had any problems at all. Average 12,000 miles per year.

Of course I realize there's going to be a few people that get the wrong impression of my promotional efforts. That's why I'm taking the time to explain. I make my videos (in part) to educate people about the HP4 and Panigale R. Example, many people think the Panigale has a dry clutch, it doesn't. They learned it has a wet & slipper clutch from my videos. Its not bragging. We will disagree on this and I'm done trying to explain. I will continue promoting my awesome KZfaq channel and thanks for viewing.

Police in California uses the R1200RT-P as well (they used to ride Harleys, but are replacing them with BMWs). Immer wieder ein schöner Aspekt dass meine RT in Kalifornien in der Stadt gebaut wurde in der ich aufgewachsen bin.

Son hermosas pero incomparables. La marca y trayectoria es todo. Hay marcas alternativas y diversas compitiendo en cada segmento. BMW deja de ser una opción a la hora de mirar el bolsillo. Pero repito que son hermosas obras de arte.

It was very nice to see them work peacefully . M & M automotive sector where I worked in 1998 , workers did not believe in peaceful work practice. They just wanted to finish the work on hurry and sleep the rest of shift hrs .

Mein absolutes Traumbike: GS !!! Durch Frührente, platze mein Traum, sie irgendwann einmal besitzen zu dürfen....leider.... Unbezahlbar, auch in der Gebrauchtvariante :°-( Gerade wenn man schon etwas älter ist und den Schaltassi wegen Schmerzen in den Händen beim Schalten, sehr gut nutzen könnte, ist es ein Jammer, so als leidenschaftliche Mopedfahrerin, auf solch ein tolles Bike verzichten zu müssen. So fahre ich halt meine XL700 (allerdings mit Wilbers Federbein, zwecks Rückenleiden), so lange, bis ich in der Urne lande. Falls jemand jemals etwas zu verschenken hätte, kann er/sie sich gerne an mich wenden. Wunder geschehen ja manchmal
