The biggest question this raises is for BMW to answer. The Germans love winning and are renowned for great engineering, so I have never understood why they seemed to hold back with their road bikes.

Word is Michael will be racing in the 2015 season under the PBM Kawasaki team alongside hutchy in all international road races aswell as running his own MD racing team 4 selected national meetings 😃

Cant imagine how scary it is when the bike goes over a bump and both wheels are in midair while flying over 150+mph. One akward landing or not following through with confidence the rider is fkd.

I don't think any MotoGP rider can win at IoM. But if there's anyone who has a chance, it's Marquez. Rossi has already said himself that he doesn't have enough balls to do this.

Ayush Sharma Rossi said doesn't enough balls to do this only because he is a gentleman. The reality is than in Motogp he gains a mountain of money, and yes if there is a motogp rider could win in loM that is Vale.

+MauriTriplete Exactly. I admire the TT as the greatest road-racing event, but lets not try to make it what it's not. Rossi is not a super bike racer first off (He doesn't race SWBK either) so there is no real connection to Isle of Man with him. I think it would be cool to see him set a lap time on such an unforgiving and long track and compare, but he would never do that so blah. Rossi could probably be very successful at the TT, given that he spent the time with it. He certainly isn't scared of it; Rossi could have retired years ago but still rides a 230HP machine in podium finishes.

MD never happy for anyone else. Ought to nick name him Mad Dog. Guy Martin clapping on the podium, you never see Mad Dog clapping if he's not on the top stair. I would attribute it to his days being severely numbered at the rate he's going but this started long before his decline.

His decline? Just cannot please some people. You should try an average lap of 134+ that Guy has done, which the previous year would've won. How many podiums or 2nd place finish in fastest race in human history have you gotten?
