Yeah this just happened to me today, I'm going to give it a couple days it'll probably go away. Just want to say I love BMW too and I've been driving my f30 for almost 10 years now. I love my car it holds me down and I will probably buy BMW from here on out! Still get compliments on it wherever I go. Thanks for the video man.

I have this "Passenger Restraint" system warning, on my 2012 X3 328i this week. I noticed that gear shifted "Icone) was showing DS (Drive/Sports) and it was not driving at regular speed (a bit slow). I just shift back from M/S (Manual Sport) to just Automatic Drive mode, by moving the Mode shift stick.

My Passenger Restraint System warning came on each time I started the car and would go away when I confirmed the issue. I brought my 2014 X3 in for an unrelated recall and BMW had to update the software. The software update fixed the Passenger Restraint System warning issue. I think most of the errors are software related. BMW should fix these for free . I am sure they won't.

can be an system time error fault code, when updating or changing modul, just ise ista or inpa to reset system time

My car just went off this light but it’s driving fine. Also got the ABS Chassis stabilization Drive moderately error… brake pads were squeaking a few days before the error showed.. I connect the dots because they can’t tell me in plane English for some reason……. 😂💪🏾

You can take it in, and have them do a reset, which will cost you around $200 , or they will tell you to just wait a few hours or days in some cases and the code will reset automatically. In most cases it's just a glitch, so don't worry about it. Peace

I got the same message for driver and passenger took the car for diagnosis which i paid £35 when i went to collect the car they told me the msg went somehow with no work has been done to the car bear in mind i had that annoying msg for over week and it won’t go away so looks like my car doesn’t like being in garage so it sorted itself out such good girl she is😅

I agree there are some warning lights that resolve on their own which saves money and time. I have had some come on and then go off permanently.

Guys, 95% of the Timothy issue is fixed after a few days. Just drive it like you always do and in a few days it disappears! I know it sounds crazy, but nothing is broke or needs fixing, its a glitch, the system will reset itself, but if you like go ahead and replace the sensor or replace the whole seat if you like but it happened to me and in a few days it was gone, never happened again! Peace!
