NICE honking horn! That should got some way to towards levelling the playing field between bikers and drivers. If a driver hears a horn that sounds more like a car, that should send a subtle but significant signal of "I'm a road user just like you - don't mess with me".

I just bought a 2021 R1250RT after having a K1200GT and a K1300GT. The sound of the R1250RT is going to take some getting use to. Those 4 cylinders have a very different sound and feel.

The boxer engines are a whole different beast. But it's been good enough for Beemer for decades now so it can't be all bad 😉

@@MotoTribeTV I agree. It's been a great engine and has actually surprised me at how fast and responsive it is. I put 130K miles on my K1200GT and 110K miles on my K1300GT. I anticipate surpassing 100K on this RT.

Was the quickshifter smooth between 1st to 2nd and to 3rd gears? Both on low and high rpms?

For sure smoother at high RPM's. Between 1st and 2nd it's a bit clunky at lower RPM's, but after that it gets much better!

Between 1250rt and 1250gsa, which suspension is more smooth on the road?

The 1250 RT suspension is very smooth and comfortable for road use. If you aren't planning on doing any off-road riding, that would be my pick of the two. - Josh

@@MotoTribeTV I don't have any plans to go off-road. Most of them are on the road. But it may be a damaged road with some potholes. Thank you very much
