Thanks for this. I've had my m135i for just over a month now and have driven in Sport the majority of the time. My main complaint was that the car was incredibly boring and lacked any drama whatsoever. I was incredibly dissapointed. Discovered Sport+ DSC last Friday (Thought it disabled everything previously so never used it) The car now drives exactly how I expected it to before I purchased it. Literally turned it into a different car, finding it very difficult to drive in any other mode now!

Is there any difference in the operation of the electronically limited slip diff between the DTC mode and Sport+ ?

Very few manufactures are now offering this in there full on Sports/Supercars and it's great that Beamer can actually give you the opportunity to Turn all the Toys off and let you have some proper fun. I have the same car, i read somewhere that in DSC fully off, BMW limited the power to 90%, not sure how true this is, but it would explain the half a second quarter mile less, as you would only be using about 293HP instead of the full 326HP. Seems a bit pointless to me, but this is on a car that has lights raise when you brake, primes the fuel pump when you try and open the boot when the car is still locked (surely a passer by could prime any 1 series by trying to open the boot, maybe that's only mine?) and fitted a engine without a dipstick. maybe i'm old fashioned, but my previous daily driver was a 34 year old 2.8 injection Capri, couldn't get any more simple than that. loving the car, doesn't like snow though :)

What's the deference between Sports & Sports +? My car has both...

how do you make the "takeoff", revs at 3000rpm and clutch fully down, then you simply drop the clutch or until the wheels grab the engine power?

Just a tip, try and have both hands on the wheel in between shifts with traction off so you can correct easier. Good video :)

Mine has 4 modes,Eco,Comfort,Sport and Sport +,what happened to the Eco in your car?or is it a optional extra?mind I never use it anyway it is always in comfort or sports modes.

What's the benefits of having the adaptive dampers on the m140i?

Does the 235i/240i have MDM mode like the full M cars have?

You don't have to put it in sport plus to get dynamic traction control on. You can just push the traction button.

Thanks for the video. I have the same car I know to hold the traction bottom to turndown the full traction. But I find that mode not as aggressive as sport+. Also the quiet exhaust the whole car like it in comfort mode. Do you know how to keep in the sport+ with no traction control? Thanks

Hold the traction off button for 15 seconds and it. ompletely turns everything off. holding for 3 only takes away part of it
