BMW USA Factory Tour

9 жыл бұрынWe go behind the scenes (where cameras are not allowed) in a rare factory tour of the BMW Spartanburg, South Carolina USA "Plant 10" Assembly Hall for the BMW X3 and BMW X4. These BMW models are built in America. They are manufactured here they are distributed across the world from a port in Charleston, SC. BMW produces the X3 X4 X5 and X6 models for the entire world from this location. Even though you can't buy a #BMW X4 diesel in the United States, they are produced here.

What a fantastic experience to watch this video since I can't do the tour in person. I'm a 2-time BMW owner. Thank you so much. Lets bring back more manufacturing to America.

I love working here. deliver parts to the line. it's not glamorous, but it pays well and hopefully I can transfer so I can get hired on to bmw full time

I work at Plant Spartanburg! This is very cool watching a video like this so people can see what I see every day. As mentioned by "Diesel Drives" this is a very rare tour. My first experience at BMW was WOW!!

I took this tour a couple years ago and I was very impressed. The idea of making multiple models and options on the same line and ensuring they all come together correctly is a virtual ballet of logistics.

I work at this location and still had to watch. It’s very different from an employee perspective V. a customers perspective.

Great video. a lot of car manufacturing videos out there, but not to many with a tour guide and questions being answered.. fantastic assembly.. (former BMW 1602 owner)

Wow foreign auto manufacturers build there vehicles here but American auto makers build in Mexico and China. Looks like buying foreign is more American than buying “American” in looking at you GM...

Lol BMW X5 for life, dad bought one like can be seen in the museum 2 years before I was born. He sold it and considered the X3, but he went ahead and ordered a black X5. I want to work here when I get older, move to Saluda NC (mountains and quiet town and first exit off 26 in NC [45 min drive to plant] and it's just a cheap place to live) and get a 4 year degree in mechanical engineering at Piedmont tech Greenwood

My X5 was born on 5/17/2021 in this factory 😃💯🤘🏻 and still waiting to take delivery hopefully next week.
