Arhh ok... so from what I could see for a quick take off... Place the auto in drive with foot hard on brake, Rev the car up to 4k, and then remove foot of brake as quick as one can?? Does this do any harm to car

You have to turn the traction control of and then left foot on the brake and right foot full throtle...release the brake and you succesfully launched the car. It's not harmful if you don't do it non stop.
